Education here and there

First of all, I don't try college life in U.S, but I will try to compare between education in K.S.A and education in U.S. Education system in K.S.A is similar than education in U.S because the Saudi universities use U.S education system with some modify. the universities in K.S.A use regular education, distance education and parallel education, all of them use GPA and GPA is a average of points earned for grades (Grade Point System). After every 2 months the students take a quiz and end of term they take final exam. Some professor use mark on curve system but i think isn't fair. I think I see same thing in american movies :). But the different the education there is free and the universities give a money for students to buy books, clothes, and students stuff.
and it's OK if student's still in parents home through collage level :).

  1. Thank you for sharing. I'm happy to know that Saudi Arabia takes so much care of education.

  2. Yes this is true , we agree with the education in US in many things, today Miss Debra said that in America, any student can recite class ,I liked it very important while in Saudi Arabia so we can not: (

  3. Khalid,
It is interesting to learn that the Saudi government pays for education, books and clothing! What percentage of students in KSA go on to the college level? Does the government pay for everyone, regardless of income? Also, can students study in many countries throughout the world and still receive this funding?

  4. Yes the Saudi government pay for education. The education in Saudi Arabia is free and the government give to students money every month (monthly bonus) to support them regardless of level (rich or poor),but I don't know exactly what the percentage of student go on to the collage but for example in university where I studied it, it has 60,000 students. And after graduate give them chance to studying in other countries.
